What’s This About?

I am an aspiring writer with the desire to work through my “issues”. I have been blogging for a couple of years, in a couple of different places and have found that my blogging needs change often. In the past, I have named my blog to reflect what I need at the time. This time, I hope that this blog will grow and change with me. In other words, I don’t really  have a direction for this blog as I want to just write what I feel at the time.  This will probably include things like my quest for a healthy weight, deep seeded garbage that comes out as a result of therapy and, of course, just random things that I like to write about.

Thus far, my passions in life are my dear husband, writing, yoga, hiking, good food, writing recipes and my family and friends. For me, writing is a form of therapy like no other and letting the world read it brings me a major sense of relief. My struggles in life are accepting that I am not a bad person because of the things that have happened to me and the mistakes that I have made. Dealing with anxiety, depression and grief are huge issues for me and often times result in laziness and binge eating.

I hope that this blog will also help others to undestand that they are not alone. We all have struggles and we each have to find our own way. My answer may not be the right one for you, just as your choices may not be right for me. Though, I do think that we can and should learn from one another’s expereinces. So, these are my experiences.
